July 10th Is On Fairy Stories and Leaf by Niggle With Jane Leading

 There are lots of different editions in which you can find J.R.R. Tolkien's wonderful essay "On Fairy Stories" and the delightful short story "Leaf by Niggle".  Whatever edition you find is just fine.  Read these two short pieces for our July 10th meeting and experience the insight Tolkien brings to the genre of fairy.  Our discussion leader for this charming duo will be Jane.

Discussion Leaders Needed
We still need discussion leaders for August and October.  August's selection is a delightful short collection of essays by Lewis titled On Stories and in October we're reading Chesterton's The Everlasting Man, a book that had a big influence is bringing Jack Lewis back to Christianity.  

Come and join us on the second Thursday of each month at the Harrisonburg Barnes and Noble when we visit with C.S. Lewis, the Inklings, and those who influenced their journey and who are influencing ours.
