Nov 11 Dorothy Sayers: The Man Born To Be King

Great meeting tonight. Christabel did a great job. We had quite a crowd although Iain had to come late since he had other engagements. After a lively discussion of "The Man Born to Be King" the subject of planning next year's meeting came up but was quickly sidetracked by a discussion of the fact that "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" was coming out in December.

Iain suggested maybe we should read "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" in anticipation of the movie. Meanwhile Ray and Jessica said that the meeting in December would be combined with a party at their house and members should bring snacks to share. The meeting will be on December 9th, Thursday. The movie opens the following day.

We'll discuss readings for the coming year at the meeting as well as Christabel leading discussion of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

Phantastes which was going to be the book for December will be moved to the January meeting.
